SS is a series of zines created by Robert Trujillo and published by Come Bien Books. Volume two is called Sew Seoulful and will be shown alongside black and white illustrations from 2008 to 2009. The zine and the illustrations will focus on visual art, self publishing, and ethnic studies.

LIFESTYLE opening Tuesday, April 14th

We got a really dope show opening up on Tuesday April 14th, lifestyle images of musicians/artists from Leo Docuyanan from the Bay. Saw homies show "Musci for your eyes" at Pueblo Nuevo in Berkeley CA. last month, it was real dope. I'm more than positive he's bring more heat to Brooklyn, So DOn't Miss out folks!

First and foremost, thanks to everyone who came out Thursday night to the Bullets & Love 2 opening, we had a special giveaway for all the gamblers and lovers in the house who purchased a raffle ticket to win a dinner for two at Le Barricou, as well as other great prizes.

Le Barricou is a French Style Country Bistro located in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn opened by Jean-Pierre Marquet and Joshua Boissy. Their Chef prepares southern, traditional French dishes. The bar serves classic cocktails, wine by the glass, carafe, and bottle. The restaurant features communal tables, a wood burning fireplace, and a wine lounge.

OneMic was spinning for us that night, and helped kick off our Scratch Saturdays series a few months ago. In a way, he is like the Fresthetic resident DJ. I honestly can't think of anyone more deserving than him to have won this free meal.
